Our Ohio CISM teams were invited to attend Christ Church for their Suicide: Change the Narrative event. The gathering served as a powerful reminder of the core of peer support: showing up early, listening without judgment, and offering a steady presence during life’s hardest moments. Grounded in CISM principles, our teams remain dedicated to offering compassionate, structured support, breaking down stigma, and helping guide individuals toward hope and healing.

Down in Virginia, CCC team Erin & Apollo partnered with American Red Cross at Norfolk Naval Station for their Suicide Awareness Walk. Events like this honor those we’ve lost and foster hope within our military and first responder communities. Apollo provided a calm, grounding presence throughout the walk—easing heavy hearts and offering unconditional comfort to service members, families, and organizers as they stand together to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
