Old Dominion University
Our Virginia Beach based CCC team. Erin and Apollo, were deployed to ODU/Norfolk campus to stand alongside students, faculty, and ROTC cadets who witnessed the unthinkable. Due to their deep ties with the school, this team arrived in under 3 hours to provide critical support after a campus tragedy. In the quiet moments of the following days, our crisis response teams served as a bridge to healing. They sat with those who didn’t have the words to speak, offered a calming presence for those overwhelmed by grief, and provided much needed emotional support for the first responders and university staff working tirelessly to support the community.
