Who We Are

Crisis Canine Corps is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing specialized therapy dog services in times of distress.

In the aftermath of a crisis, the world feels loud, chaotic, and impossible to navigate. Sometimes, the most powerful form of therapy doesn't speak a single word. It just sits by your side, leans in, and listens.

Crisis Canine Corps was founded on a simple, undeniable truth: dogs have a unique superpower to lower cortisol, steady a racing heart, and provide a sense of safety when everything else feels uncertain. We are a dedicated team of trained handlers and elite canine therapy dogs who don't just "visit"—we show up in the trenches of human struggle to deliver comfort, calm, and care when it matters most.

We believe that comfort shouldn't only arrive after a siren. While our teams are trained for the frontlines of tragedy, we are just as committed to building a resilient, connected community every single day.

Healing also happens in the quiet moments. We actively partner with local organizers to bring the stabilizing power of our canine teams to community events. Our presence at these events allows us to build trust and familiarity long before a crisis ever occurs, ensuring that when the community needs us most, we are already a known and trusted friend.

Crisis Canine Corps doesn’t just wait for the phone to ring; we are a heartbeat in our community. We don't just show up for the aftermath; we show up for the people. Whether it’s a disaster zone or a neighborhood park, our mission remains the same: providing comfort, calm, and care when it matters most.
